What is a viewfinder?
A view finder is the screen or window that you look through to compose the pictuer. It shows you what is going to be in the picture.
What is the function of the aperture control?
The aperture controls how much light enters the camera. If it's a dark day, I'm going to open up the aperture so that the picture shows more details.
What is a shutter? What is it used for?
I control the shutter speed when I'm taking pictures of things in motion. If I'm taking a picture with a fast shutter, the object in motion will look like it's suspended in mid-air. If I use a slow shutter, there is going to be a blur behind the object.
What does the lens focal length control?
The focal length is the zoom function. It controls how close we are to the object.
What happens to an image taken with a long focal length?
It would be very zoomed in. It would make you feel like you're closer to the object.
What is a macro lens used for?
Macro photography is used to take images of things up close. It allows the photographer to get a high-resolution image of something very close or small.
What is a fish-eye lens? Describe the look of an image when it is taken with a fish-eye lens.
Fish-eye lens is used to create a special effect. It makes the image distorted. The image looks round, like as if it's wrapped around a ball.
